OUR COACHES
Amy Richardson
Coach
Amy was first introduced to Olympic Weightlifting in 2012 when she began Crossfit. She trained and competed in Crossfit for two years, reaching her goal of becoming a regional team member in 2014. It was through this process that she fell in love with Olympic Weightlifting and decided to pursue lifting full-time.
Amy currently competes both locally and nationally, as a 55 kg lifter. She holds New England Records in both the 55 and 59 kg weight classes and is a nationally ranked lifter, placing 5th at the 2019 USA Weightlifting National Championships, also taking bronze on the clean and jerk. Amy loves sharing her passion and excitement for weightlifting through coaching. Her experiences as an athlete, both in training and competition, have helped her develop a strong understanding of weightlifting from a technical, physical, and emotional perspective that she feels will assist her in coaching her athletes to reach their full potential.
